Chortle 2023
Micky Overman is a comedian and writer and despite her Canadian/Irish accent, she is originally from Holland. These days and to be politically correct, we really should be saying, Micky is from the Netherlands. She now stays in London and has been making a name for herself with appearances and writing in TV sketches. These have been for Ch4, ITV2, BBC3 and the comedy channel, Pulped.
In 2016 Micky was a finalist at the Funny Women Awards. That same year she was also a finalist at the Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year Awards.
2023 saw Micky back at the Edinburgh Fringe. Chortle gave her show “The Precpice” four stars saying, “irresistibly loose and lively performance. Her eyes sparkle with eager playfulness and her vivacious delight at being on stage makes her excellent company.” Micky Overman had previously been a Chortle Best Newcomer nominee
