The Gamers and Gaming business has never been busier.  In 2023 the industry was valued at $300 billion with around 3 billion players globally.

With millions of followers, some Gamers have become global influencer superstars. YouTube, TikTok and Instagram is their home.  Their influence on the Gamer community is huge with the top 100 biggest names amassing between 15 and 100 million subscribers each.

Minecraft, Fortnite, Grand Theft Auto, Shadowcraft, and One Life are just a few of the games being played.

As more and more key figures in the industry emerge, there is now a demand for speakers and industry experts to speak at corporate events.

Who are these gamers? Almost all of them are know by their pseudonym. One of the highest paid UK gamers is Ali-A who is known to collaborate with the gaming group the Sidemen.  He now has a Wikipedia page and to date, has amassed more than 6.5 billion views on his main channel.

Some of the biggest names have managers and have branched into product merchandise like caps, T shirts, lunch bags and even drinks.

Earlier in 2024 three of YouTube’s top gamers launched a brand of snacks called Lunchly. This was a joint venture between YouTubers Logan Paul, MrBeast and co-founding member of The Sidemen, KSI.

As of June 2025 PewDiePie has 110 million subscribers with Minecraft being one of his most played.
