Sarah Webb Gosling OBE is an Olympian who has been sailing from the age of seven. She is a dedicated professional and a genuine talent. Following successes in a variety of classes over the years, Sarah’s natural ability and work ethic were rewarded with Olympic gold in Athens. Sarah and her fellow crew members, Sarah Ayton and Shirley Robertson were then affectionately named ‘Three Blondes in a Boat’.
With her crewmate from Greece Sarah Ayton and the newly recruited Pippa Wilson, another Olympic gold was won four years later. This was at the Beijing Olympics in 2008. Sadly after the Beijing Olympics the Yngling class was removed from competition. Sarah Webb Gosling OBE never competed in an Olympics again.
Sarah did however, become a London 2012 Olympic Ambassador, working hard at delivering to sponsors.
