John Moloney has been a professional comedian for over 30 years, and has travelled and entertained audiences across the globe with his crafted, intelligent and original stand-up routines. Winner of the Best Live Performer award for two years running at the London Comedy Festival, John has become one of Britain’s most in-demand comedy acts, a true comic talent.
John received 5 Star reviews for his Edinburgh Show ” Butterflies with Stretchmarks ” – and was invited to the Melbourne Festival to reprise the show to Australian fans. John has performed at five Montreal Festivals (a very prestigious festival – as it is invite-only – so it only has the best hand-picked International Comedians). On the back of his resounding success in Montreal – John toured Canada and played to over 50,000 fans.
John regularly performs at the world famous Comedy Store in London – indeed the owner, Don Ward has said ” John is a firm favourite of The Comedy Store – and a firm favourite of mine “. Praise indeed from one of the most influential and respected men in the comedy industry.
John Moloney is a highly experienced performer at corporate evenings. Not just as a stand-up, but as an event host and auctioneer. In an earlier life John taught French and German at a school in London. These are skills that have helped his international comedy performances in France and Germany.
