Ian B Dunne is the Science Show Man.

Ian uses humour to get his point across and has so much live audience experience, it’s insane. Using science tricks, voices and jokes he has wowed school and festival audiences for years. Bringing stand up comedy to the complex world of science, Ian B Dunne has the whole range of material and skills. He has done thousands of shows to tens of thousands of people.

Kids say they are inspired, adults tell him that they just wish they had had him at their school. From inner city academies to the Royal Institution and back, Ian B Dunne has trod the boards.

With a chemistry degree and a Secondary Science PGCE from Southampton, Ian went to work with fireworks then computers before cutting the cord and going free range, to make the world a better place. He has never looked back.

You think your audience is hard? He stands up in front of 300 teenagers, four times in a day, who don’t want to be there. By the middle they are cheering. By the end they won’t leave.

Ian’s special magic skill is being able to explain just about everything to just about anybody. He does live Q&A sessions with kids and adults many times a year and loves the surreal questions.

A technology fan, Ian Dunne has made a lot of toys and a few new friends including robots, automata and tesla coils. When not busy he likes nothing more than getting his hands dirty with kit, or exotic plants.
