Adam Kay

Adam Kay is a comedian, musician and trained doctor (we’ll talk more about that later). He has been shaking up the corporate world with his delectable combination of stand-up and songs. Far from appealing purely to the medical world – while he has most certainly wowed his fair share of doctors, vets and members of the British Society of Gastroenterology – Adam’s corporate clients have been decidedly varied, from Deloitte to Timpson the key cutters, via HRH Prince Harry’s 30th Birthday Party (Scouts honour. No two performances are the same.  With Adam, everything is tailored for the audience, be they doctors & scientists or diners at the Ivy Club. He can also do long songs, quick fire songs, bespoke songs, songs that will wake your delegates up, he can even dish out awards from his keyboard, and can be clean enough for a Christening, or filthy enough for a room full of rugby players … or the other way around if that’s preferable!

Adam has also sold out numerous Edinburgh Festivals and UK tours, won the London Cabaret Award, had over 10 million hits on YouTube (including the iconic London Underground Song) and has had four number one albums in the iTunes comedy charts. He can be heard on the Radio 4 Now Show.
Adam Kay is now one of the country’s most sought-after comedy writers for TV, with numerous credits including as co-creator of BBC Three comedy CRIMS from 2015.

NEW SHOW:

2022 saw Adam Kay on tour with his new show ‘This Is Going To Hurt‘ which was also turned into a comedy drama on BBC with actor Ben Whishaw playing Adam.  Adam Kay was himself a highly respected NHS medical doctor.  In 2023 the show won him a BAFTA.

He has written textbooks in the fields of women’s health and fertility, and also writes regular features for Cosmopolitan.
