Bobby Skinstad is a former rugby South African captain and player for Gwent Dragons and the Western Stormers.
Former Springbok captain Bobby Skinstad was capped 34 times by his country, and is seen as a golden boy of SA rugby. Bobby is a big man and a big name in the rugby world. He was schooled at Hilton College in Natal and was later selected as captain of the under-19 and under-21 teams for South Africa.
A very creative player and exceptionally difficult to defend against. Bobby had an enormous impact in each and every game that he played.
He had a successful career with the Western Stormers. This was before switching South Africa for Wales joining another former Springbok (Percy Montgomery) at Celtic league side Gwent Dragons.
Bobby has a unique presence and is a great communicator. He is now a business man and popular speaker on the rugby circuit. Sky Sports have spotted his talents, and this avuncular guy now appears regularly on our screens.
