Charlene White is the main presenter for ITV News London’s flagship 6pm show. Also, she presents weekend national news programmes for ITV News. She is an award winning journalist with over 20 years industry experience. In 2014 Charlene became the first ever black woman to present News at Ten on ITV.

With an impressive and diverse résumé, Charlene has interviewed major political figures. These include David Cameron, Tony Blair and Gordon Brown. She has also interviewed global music stars such as Jay-Z, Kanye West and Beyoncé. There are also film and literary figures that Charlene has conversed with including Maya Angelou, Will Smith and Daniel Radcliffe.
Charlene has hosted special programmes. including a BBC Radio special after the 7/7 bombings in July looking at the Islam in Britain. She also hosted ITV London’s rolling news programme the day of the Woolwich attack in May 2013, and anchored a special ITV News London show live from Trafalgar Square the day after Nelson Mandela passed away.
She has also anchored 6 hour BBC radio broadcasts from Notting Hill Carnival, Trinidad Carnival and London Fashion Week.
Charlene White has worked as a features writer for the York Post in Manhattan. She is also the journalist in residence at London College of Communications, regularly teaching there.
She is an exceptional keynote speaker who can talk with authority on such subjects as Diversity and Racism. In 2021 Charlene presented a magazine show on ITV called ‘IRL with Team Charlene’. The show had celebrity guests, friends, experts and young people. It covered short films, music and dealing with racism in the UK and the impact it has on our youth.
