Christopher Tait as Robert Burns, is Scotland’s only Robert Burns lookalike and speaker. Dressed authentically as the Bard himself, Christopher Tait is the perfect addition for a Burns Supper.
Christopher is very well known on the Burns Supper circuit in Scotland and elsewhere, with regular repeat bookings at many of the biggest events. Christopher Tait as Robert Burns is the only Robert Burns reenactor/Impersonator on the worldwide Burns circuit!
He performs all of the main speeches and poems including the haggis address, Burns’ own Immortal Memory and To a Mouse.
Christopher can also recite Holy Willie’s Prayer (as Willie Fisher) and does a unique performance of Tam O’ Shanter. This he does to a music and sound effects backing track.

Christopher Tait as Robert Burns has appeared on television many times, working with the BBC, STV and in the USA with CBS on their flagship entertainment show, The Amazing Race. He is currently being seen in the National Trust for Scotland television advert (STV April 2023). He also features regularly in the press, especially when someone wants a Burns lookalike.
Regular clients include Visit Scotland, The National Trust for Scotland, The Ulster Scots Agency in Belfast and Scottish Societies around the world from Seattle, New York and Moscow to London, Dubai, Singapore and Jakarta.
Christopher has and continues to perform all over the world.
Theatre:
In addition to performing at Burns Suppers, Christopher has a 45 minute, one man theatre play suitable for all ages. He also has a specially adapted, interactive play with Q&A for school children and university students.
Christopher Tait as Robert Burns also offers a dinner with Robert Burns experience, where guests are entertained by Burns himself during dinner. He also perform at weddings and can appear at Scottish themed events as a meet and greet character. Here he will interact with guests and pose for photographs.
