Dr Mark Prince – Awarded OBE for Services to Knife & Gang Crime in London & Winner of the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Helen Rollason Award 2024
Mark Prince is most known as a former professional boxer who transformed personal tragedy into powerful social change. After his teenage son, Kiyan Prince, was killed in a knife crime attack, Mark founded The Kiyan Prince Foundation in 2007 to steer young people away from violence and gangs. A holder of IBF and WBO Inter-Continental titles, he used his platform to campaign nationally on knife crime, speaking with schools, prisons, police and government leaders. Awarded an OBE for services to tackling knife and gang crime in London, he is recognised for resilience, community leadership and saving young lives everywhere today.
