Gary Delaney

Gary Delaney is a comedian, widely regarded as being the most quotable one-liner comic in the country. He projects the barely hidden delight of a cheeky schoolboy, often laughing at his own jokes.  Gary’s audience gets carried along by his infectious charm.

Gary is a regular guest on Dara O Briain’s Mock The Week and 7 Day Saturday, plus he has had numerous appearances on Dave’s One Night Stand, Twitter-based panel show Ten Million Comedians, Channel 4’s Robert’s Web, Loose Ends and Russell Kane’s Whistle-Stop Tour.

Gary has written extensively for TV and Radio. His work includes material for 8 Out Of 10 Cats, League Of Their Own, 10 O’Clock Live, The British Comedy Awards and The News Quiz. His debut show Purist was a big hit at the Edinburgh Festival in 2010. He sold out every night, receiving many four and five star reviews.

2020 saw the end of his most successful UK tour to date. Gary plans to return to the Edinburgh Fringe for a full run at The Pleasance Courtyard this year.
