NEWS:
The research organisation Global Gurus have named Jo Salter as their top corporate speaker on Motivation for 2025
Jo entered the RAF when she was 18. She planned to be an engineer but in 1992 the UK government changed the rules allowing women to become RAF fighter pilots. Jo finished her training that same year. Two years later Jo had made Flight Lieutenant and was posted to RAF Lossiemouth in Scotland where she joined the legendary 617 (Dambusters) Squadron. Within a year Jo Salter was “combat ready” and now flying RAF Tornados, covering the no-fly zone in Iraq.
During this time Jo had started studying for a degree in Masters of Business at the Open University. By 1999, Jo had completed the course and now had her MBA.
These days Jo is Director of Global Transformative Leadership with the International Professional Services company PwC. However, her flying career is never far away and she still trains budding pilots with the Air Training Corps to keep her hands in. She was also made an Honorary Group Captain with the RAF reserves Squadron 601.
In 2022 Jo Salter was awarded an MBE for her services to aviation.
Jo’s other book is Energy: 52 Ways to Fire Up Your Life and Become an Energy Angel.
