Lady Chanelle McCoy is one of the UK and Ireland’s most successful business women. Chanelle is a winner of the All-Ireland Business Champion Award. She also was shown in the ‘50 incredible people shaping modern Ireland’.
Apart from Chanelle’s various business interests, she is also known for being a Dragon on the Irish version of Dragon’s Den. Chanelle is also married to horseracing legend Sir AP McCoy (the world’s greatest jump jockey).
When formally leading Chanelle Medical, part of the multi-million-pound global company Chanelle Pharmaceuticals based in Galway, over her 18 years Chanelle took the medical company into 96 markets globally and achieved approval for 2,500 medicine product licenses around the world.
Whilst Chanelle still remains a shareholder of Chanelle Pharmaceuticals, she has since co-founded Chanelle McCoy Health, a research and development led pharmaceutical company. After several years researching lab-made Cannabidiol (CBD) and investing substantially in clinical studies.
