Larry Dean was Scottish Comedian Of The Year when he was only 23. Since then he has appeared on BBC1’s Live at the Apollo and BBC2’s Mock the Week. He has also collected a number of awards for his performances and comedy writing.

Larry’s latest tour ‘Dodger’ for 2025 will see him perform in venues from London to Shetland. Then he’ll just come down from The Isle of Skye (yes, he has a gig there) after hitting a few European cities like Berlin, Oslo, Amsterdam and Dublin. Tickets can be bought here: www.ticketmaster.co.uk
His 2015 debut Edinburgh Fringe show Out Now! received both widespread critical acclaim and a nomination for the Foster’s Comedy Award for Best Newcomer.
In 2016 Larry Dean returned to Edinburgh with his eagerly awaited new show Farcissist. For this he won the Amused Moose Comedy Award for Best Show. He subsequently took the show on a UK-wide tour and a run at the 2017 Melbourne Comedy Festival.
Fandan, Larry’s 2017 solo show enjoyed a sold-out run at the 2017 Edinburgh Fringe. It was one of the British Comedy Guide’s Top 10 Best Reviewed Shows. Larry Dean also performed the show at Christchurch Buskers Festival and Perth Fringeworld in February 2018. This was ahead of his UK tour in March, and then thereafter at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
Larry Dean’s 2018 show Bampot was nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award (Perrier Award) for Best Comedy Show. He also received a raft of rave reviews and enjoyed a complete sell out at the Fringe Festival. After this he toured the show across the UK.
Covid, as with all comedians put a halt to touring during 2020/21 but Larry Dean was back in 2022 with new dates for his UK tour called Fudnut which he performed over 22 nights at the 2022 Edinburgh Fringe.
Larry has also appeared twice in Comedy Central UK’s Roast Battle and Live From the Comedy Store. In 2019 he appeared on BBC’s Michael McIntyre’s Big Show.
