Rachel Morgan-Trimmer is one of the UK’s best known neurodiversity experts. Described as passionate, funny and inspirational, she talks authentically about the strengths and challenges faced by people like her. Growing up with undiagnosed autism and ADHD, she understands first-hand the issues of neurodiversity in women, and the associated mental health issues.
“I was absolutely blown away.”
The topics Rachel talks about cover the full spectrum of neurodiversity, including:

- Dyslexia
- Dyspraxia
- Dyscalculia
- ADHD
- Autism
She has lived experience of ADHD and autism and works closely with those who have other conditions. Her talks also touch on the overlap between neurodiversity and mental health, and she speaks frankly and honestly about her own battles with mental illness.
Rachel Morgan-Trimmer is also able to deliver more specialist talks on neurodiversity in women; specifically autism in women and ADHD in women.
“So humorous, funny and engaging.”
Like many people with ADHD, Rachel’s professional background is varied! Starting out her career as an editor in New York, she moved back to the UK to work in the emerging digital sector, focusing on content management, project management and online copywriting. Easily bored, she jacked it all in at the age of 29 to travel the world, returning to set up her own business advising other people how to take an adult gap year. She has helped over a million people change their lives, impacted millions more through positive volunteering projects, and was featured in numerous publications, on the radio, and on TV.
Rachel found that being a neurodivergent professional came with huge challenges, and she had severe mental health issues as a result of the stress. She set up a new consultancy to help people like her navigate the world of business. Rachel then realised, she could help more people via corporate training rather than coaching. She then made the move to training and public speaking. She soon found herself in high demand. Businesses had realised the value of neurodivergent inclusion and the importance of a trainer who can engage with a diverse range of employees.
“One of the best talks I’ve ever seen.”
Rachel is also the author of “How to treat autistic people”, She produced an award-winning poster on the same topic. Frequently quoted in the national and international press, she’s also had her work published in a peer-reviewed academic journal.
Her favourite job though is public speaking. She’s a TEDx speaker, a member of the Professional Speaking Association, and has also delivered keynote speeches at international conferences. Rachel Morgan-Trimmer is known for building a rapport with her audience. She can make people laugh and cry, and above all, bring a new understanding of neurodiversity.
