Tim Minchin

Tim Minchin is an internationally acclaimed comedian, songwriter, singer and pianist. A popular performer on the UK scene, he has sold out his shows in London’s West End, around the UK, and internationally in Canada and Australia. Tim has appeared on radio and television in the UK, US and Australia. In 2009 Tim featured on both Friday Night with Jonathon Ross, and Never Mind the Buzzcocks.  In the UK, he has appeared on everything from Children in Need to the One Show and ITV’s Lorraine. He was also a guest on fellow Australian Adam Hill’s The Last Leg in 2023.

Tim performed a bespoke song for Jonathan Ross when he was a guest on one of Jonathan’s last BBC shows back in 2010.  There was a Royal Variety performance in 2011

In 2011 Tim Minchin won another two Chortle awards to add to his 2010 and 2009 ones. He also claimed another award for ‘Best music or variety act’ at this year’s ceremony.

Other recognitions of Tim’s achievements include the Perrier Best Newcomer award (Edinburgh Fringe) and the Directors’ Choice award at the Melbourne Comedy Festival. This was for his breakout show Darkside. He won Best Alternative Comedy Act at the US Comedy Arts Festival. Tim is also a three-time Green Room Award Winner (Australia).

Tim Minchin is also celebrated for composing and writing lyrics for Matilda the Musical, which won both Olivier and Tony Awards

On top of a huge tour, 2025 will also see the release of an album (Time Machine) and a single (Ruby)

Renowned for his sharp lyrical observations and extraordinary musicianship, he is extremely popular in the corporate sector, particularly for his ability to create tailor-made songs for clients. Corporate clients have ranged from Microsoft, to Emap, to Pret A Manger!

Tim Minchin resides in Australia but tours extensively in the UK. He will consider corporate requests that fit with his tour schedule.
