Stuart McPherson

Stuart McPherson is an award-winning stand-up comedian, writer and also an actor. He is also known for writing and performing acclaimed Edinburgh Fringe shows with Monkey Barrel Comedy.

Stuart is probably best known for appearing in the Scottish BAFTA winning comedy Scot Squad on BBC Scotland.  Interestingly enough, Stuart is also a lead story producer and script editor on the programme.

As a stand-up comedian Stuart McPherson has supported Larry Dean and also John Kearns on tour. He won Best Newcomer at the Scottish Comedy Awards.

Stuart has performed stand-up on the TV programmes such as Edinburgh Unlocked for BBC, and also for the BBC’s The Comedy Underground.

He has appeared as a panellist on programmes such as the BBC’s Bad Influencer and Sanjeev Kohli’s Big Talk which was also on BBC.  Others include BBC Radio Scotland’s The Good The Bad and the Unexpected and Stop the Press.
