Ori Inbar is a pioneer in the field of augmented reality and a globally recognised leader in advancing the AI and tech industries. He is the co-founder and CEO of AugmentedReality.ORG and the creator of Augmented World Expo, the largest and most influential AR conference in the world. With a background spanning technology leadership, venture creation, and community building, Ori has dedicated his career to educating and inspiring others about the transformative power of AR while helping shape the future of immersive technologies.
Credentials and Impact
With a bachelor’s degree in computer science, cinema and TV from Tel Aviv University and further business leadership training at INSEAD, Ori has cultivated a career at the forefront of technology. He began at TopTier Software, where he contributed to more than 15 multimedia and business applications before the company’s acquisition by SAP for $400 million. Rising to Senior Vice President of Solution Marketing at SAP, he successfully positioned and grew SAP NetWeaver into a billion-dollar business.
Ori then co-founded Orgmento, one of the first venture-backed companies dedicated to developing AR games, further cementing his pioneering role in the field. In 2010, he co-founded AWE, which has grown into the world’s largest AR gathering, uniting industry innovators and visionaries. As CEO of Super Ventures, he supports startups that push the boundaries of immersive technologies, while also serving as an adviser and lecturer at NYU.
