how delighted we were with Andrea hosting our Net-Zero Energy Transition Awards... Andrea is such a professional and brought huge energy to the room. We wouldn’t hesitate to have her host the event once again.

Andrea Brymer is one of Scotland’s best known newsreaders and currently, the main female anchor for STV North.
Andrea started her career as a journalist at STV and was quickly promoted to the role of features reporter. This saw her tackle a huge variety of serious news issues to the more daredevil role as an all-round action girl.
Never one to shy away from a challenge, Andrea then moved into live presenting. She has been reading the news now for over 15 years. During that time, Andrea Brymer has also been one of the two main presenters chosen to co-host live pan-Scottish programmes on major stories. These include two Scottish elections and the North Sea helicopter crash in 2009. Tragically, 16 men lost their lives in the crash. She also covered the Pope’s visit to Scotland in 2010.
Andrea has fronted a variety of programmes, including the cookery programme Desert Island Chefs. This took her as far north as Orkney, sampling some of the best cuisine Scotland has to offer. Her diversity has also seen her write and present a number of social action programmes. She has also co-hosted STV’s Hogmanay programme, from the world famous Fireballs at Stonehaven.
Andrea Brymer is a confident and accomplished host, ideal for charity gala dinners and awards ceremonies. She is also great to work with and the client feedback has highlighted her sense of humour, not to mention her dynamic personality. Andrea is an excellent facilitator/conference chair and has worked for a wide variety of clients from the Food Standards Agency to the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
Outside work, Andrea is mum to three boys, who keep her extremely active and entertained. She is passionate about Scotland and is an Angus Ahead Champion. Andrea loves promoting the county in which she was born. She is also patron of the TCCL charity, Tayside Children with Cancer and Leukaemia.
